Funding Terms — Deepcut

1. Nature of Contributions

Contributions made as part of the Founding Member campaign are support payments with consideration (reward-based crowdfunding). They do not constitute any of the following:

No company share or capital investment
No profit-sharing right
No voting right in a corporate law sense
No subordinated loan or profit participation loan
No right to repayment beyond the statutory right of withdrawal
No claim to the company or its assets

2. Rewards

Depending on the chosen tier, supporters receive the following rewards:

Early Believer (€30)

Early access to the closed beta (invitation before public launch)

Founding Fan (€80)

Participation in community polls on feature priorities and design. Note: Poll results are taken into consideration during planning but are non-binding and do not constitute any co-determination right in a corporate law sense.
Exclusive Deepcut T-shirt (shipping within Germany, delivery time approx. 6–8 weeks)
Founding Fan badge on user profile

Founding Artist (€120)

All benefits from Founding Fan
12 months of free uploads from the public launch of the platform (max. 50 tracks). The service begins with the launch. Should the launch not take place within 18 months of the purchase date, the supporter will receive a pro-rata refund for the upload service.

Crew Founder (€300)

Priority access to the Crew feature once available. A specific date cannot be guaranteed.
Access to an exclusive Founders channel (Signal or Discord)

Inner Circle (€1,000)

All benefits from Crew Founder
Quarterly informal feedback session with the founder (video call, approx. 30 min, 4× per year). Note: The feedback sessions are informal conversations and do not constitute any advisory, board, or corporate relationship. Shared information is limited to generally communicable project progress.

Note on T-Shirt Shipping

Physical goods (T-shirts) are shipped within Germany only. International shipping is not currently available. If an international customer purchases a tier that includes physical goods, we will contact them by email to find an individual solution (e.g., an alternative digital reward).

3. Prices and VAT

All stated prices are final prices including the statutory value-added tax of currently 19%. Payment is processed through the payment service provider Stripe.

4. Project in Development

Deepcut is a project in active development. Feature scope, design, and timelines may change. We communicate significant changes transparently through our website and our communication channels.

5. Refunds

The statutory right of withdrawal (14 days) is governed by the provisions of our Terms and Conditions.

Additionally: Should the Deepcut platform not be publicly launched within 18 months of the respective purchase date, supporters of the Founding Artist, Crew Founder, and Inner Circle tiers will receive a pro-rata refund for service benefits not yet provided (e.g., upload service). Benefits already provided (e.g., T-shirt, badge, channel access) are excluded from the refund.

6. Data Protection

The publication of your name on the Supporters page or in the credits is only done with your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may revoke this consent at any time. Further information can be found in our Privacy Policy.

7. Applicable Law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which you have your habitual residence shall remain unaffected.
